Patient Services

Medical

The medical department is composed of Consultants and Non-Consultant Hospital Doctors (NCHDs), who provide evidence-based, person-centred medical care within the multidisciplinary team during the inpatient rehabilitation admission.

Medical Social Work

Our Medical Social Workers assess the wider impact of illness or injury on patients and their families, and plan appropriate support and welfare services they need to move forward.

Nursing

Our Nursing team – comprising Registered General Nurses & Healthcare Assistants – provides round-the-clock care and support through every stage of rehabilitation.

Nutrition & Dietetics

Our Nutrition and Dietetics team assesses patients’ individual needs to ensure each has the specific dietary support they need to heal properly and regain strength.

Occupational Therapy

Our Occupational Therapists (OTs) work with patients to rebuild confidence and independence in their everyday activities, helping people return home safely.

Pharmacy

Our Pharmacists advise clinical staff, patients and their carers on all things medication, ensuring everything is safe, effective, and clearly understood.

Physiotherapy

Our Physiotherapists work with patients affected by injury, illness or disability to restore movement and rebuild strength through exercise.

Speech & Language Therapy

Our Speech & Language Therapists support patients having trouble with communication, voice, or eating and swallowing.

X-Ray

Our X-ray Department offers a general imaging service for all inpatients, and a GP outpatient service for adults, by appointment.
